Course Description
The Parables in the Christian New Testament Gospels are wonderful stories which hold meaning for the community 2,000 years ago as well as today. The fun part of studying the parables is that the layers of meaning start to emerge as we uncover the context. Some of these parables are quite edgy! And today, understanding the power and meaning of the parables for the ancient audience as well as today's Christian community can better prepare us for conversations with each other.
