My name is Michele Grove and I began this online study program out of my love of ancient religious stories.

  It is my hope that UU Bible Study will offer folx the opportunity to see the beauty in the story.  These stories have wisdom to share with everyone no matter your theology or philosophy.

​My 35 years of professional religious education work began in 1988 as a United Methodist Youth and Young Adult Director.  Since then, I have served in many roles in the United Methodist (1988-2003) and Unitarian Universalist Tradition (2003 until present times).

I received my Masters of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2001 and my Doctor of Ministry in 2019.  Through all my studies, I continue to learn from these sacred stories and find the historic people great life teachers.  

I live with my husband, Andy and daughter Helena in Galena, Illinois.  We have four dogs, one cat and a happy adventurous life.
